Climbing Ol Doinyo Lengai (also spelled Oldoinyo Lengai), known as the “Mountain of God” by the Maasai, is a dramatic and challenging volcano climb in northern Tanzania. Unlike Mount Kilimanjaro, this is a much steeper, shorter, and more technical ascent, known for its unique active carbonatite lava and spiritual significance.
