A Day on This Trip

1. 07:30 AM: Drive from Arusha/Moshi through historic Chagga farmlands to the Marangu Gate.
2. 09:00 AM: Complete park permits and begin hiking through the dense forest canopy, looking for monkeys and bright wild orchids.
3. 01:00 PM: Reach the camp, explore the clearing, and enjoy a packed lunchbox. Take a short 15-minute side walk to the Maundi Crater viewpoint.
4. 02:00 PM: Begin your steady walk back down through the forest path.
5. 04:30 PM: Arrive back at Marangu Gate to receive a completion acknowledgment and meet your driver.
6. 06:00 PM: Return to your hotel.
