Day by Day Experience
Moshi Town
Arrival in Moshi/Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Meet your guide for a full briefing, check your trekking gear, and relax before the climb begins. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 1: Momella Gate – Miriakamba Hut
After breakfast, transfer to Arusha National Park and complete registration at Momella Gate (1,500m). Begin trekking through lush rainforest accompanied by an armed ranger, spotting giraffes, buffalo, warthogs, and monkeys. Picnic lunch along the trail, then continue to Miriakamba Hut (2,500m) in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight in the huts.
Shira 1 Camp
Day 2: Miriakamba Hut – Saddle Hut – Summit – Miriakamba Hut
Start early and ascend steeply through montane forest into heather and moorland zones. Lunch is served at Saddle Hut (3,570m), where you rest before the midnight summit attempt. Around midnight, begin the climb to Socialist Peak (4,566m), passing Rhino Point (3,800m) and Cobra Point (4,350m). Arrive at the summit by sunrise for breathtaking views of Kilimanjaro and the Rift Valley. Descend back to Saddle Hut for a meal, then continue down to Miriakamba Hut for dinner and overnight.
Moshi Town
Day 3: Miriakamba Hut – Momella Gate – Arusha/Moshi
After breakfast, descend through forest and open grassland back to Momella Gate. Spot wildlife along the way and enjoy a final picnic lunch. At the gate, collect your summit certificate and say farewell to your trekking crew. Return to Arusha or Moshi for a relaxing evening.
